Over the weekend, Mayor Wilson Jeudy posted on his Facebook page:

"Now that I got my DECHARGE for being a good manager of the Mairie de Delmas, I have registered with the electoral council as a candidate for Mayor of Delmas on Saturday 30 May 2015... I deposited all documents the law requires. I am not done yet with all the work I have to do in Delmas..."
