CEP spokesperson Frantz Bernadin said that financing of political parties is slow in coming despite the fact that campaign for the legislative elections begins Wednesday.

Bernadin said the Executive has yet to decide the amount to be allocated to political parties. These funds, when released, are to be released to political parties according to the number of candidates they present for election.

So what if these funds are not allocated? Does that mean political parties and candidates will have no way of campaining?
