Haiti Elections - DECHARGE is a PLOT to BAN Qualified Candidates from the Elections... True or False???

Haiti Election Update -- The question of DECHARGE has become the hottest topic among journalists, politicians and political commentators across the country. Should candidates be allowed to participate in the upcoming elections without that famous DECHARGE that state agencies in charge are unable or incapable of providing....

Tonton Bicha pa gen DECHARGE
Tonton Bicha pa gen DECHARGE

Right now, in Haiti, there is NO Parliament, therefore many potential candidates like former Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe who is a candidate for President cannot receive DECHARGE.

Is that true or false???

FALSE when you consider the argument of Michel Brunache on Haiti radio Scoop FM who argued that since the presidency of Aristide, there has been many instances where there was no parliament and candidates like former president Rene Preval benefited from an alternate form of DECHARGE that did not come from Parliament... SO why not now?

In Haiti, Cour Superieur des Comptes does NOT have enough human resources to provide DECHARGE to every single person who requests it today. This is the agruement of Duly Brutus, Candidate for President who does NOT have Decharge...

Today, Duly Brutus said, the entire government is operating on compromise, The current prime minister is a compromise, many ministers in his administration who are at their post without DECHARGE is a compromise, the electoral decreee las is a compromise, the electoral council whose members, some of them, have NO DECHARGE is a compromise... He does not understand why there cannot be a compromise for candidates who need DECHARGE to have it so the people can decide who wins and who looses...

Accodeing to Duly Brutus, there is a sector in Haitian politics who is using DECHARGE as an excuse to EXCLUDE certain candidates from the elections...

What do you think about that?

Well, well. When you took a LUCRATIVE government job, didn't you know that, if you wanted to run for an elected position, you would need that famous dechaj?

Didn't you also know that without a functional parliament, it would be almost impossible to get that sweet dechaj?

So just because we have a de-facto Prime Minister, a de-facto government (except for the President), why not have de-facto dechaj and de-facto candidates?
