Haiti Elections - CEP to use Technology to Fight Elections Fraud with Online Registration of Candidates

For the upcoming elections in Haiti, the Electoral Council (CEP) is studying the possibility of using Information Technology and Communication to prevent elections fraud and tampering... The CEP is planing to receive the voting results electronically from the Tabulation Centers after all ballots have been counted...

They are also talking about registering Haitian electoral candidates online in order to reduce delays... All candidates are to submit their documents in digital form...

According to HaitiLibre, the CEP said that all these technological tools are ready for the upcoming elections; however, the introduction of these online registration tools are subject to the approval, or NOT, of the political parties...
