READ the English translation of Press Release #80 released late Saturday night by the CEP regarding this matter:

The Provisional Electoral Council informs the general public and those responsible for election observation organizations in particular that the Unité Nationale pour le Développement Appliqué (UNADA) has been removed from the list of national agencies authorized to observe the election, for fraud and selling of accreditation cards.

Consequently, all the cards that have been issued on behalf of the organization for the elections of October 25, 2015, are invalid and can not give access to the CEP structures, particularly to polling centers.

The Council calls on police authorities to take note of this information. In this sense, administrative measures will be taken by the institution to prosecute Alain SAINT-LOUIS, the UNADA National Coordinator.

The Council reiterates its determination to do everything possible for the holding of free, fair, inclusive and democratic.
