This network of observers includes National de Défense des Droits Humains (RNDDH), Conseil National d'Observation (CNO) and Conseil Haitien des Acteurs Non Etatiques (CONHANE)

A member of RNDDH, interviewed on Haiti Radio Caraibes FM early morning Tuesday, gave some details of a report that they will be out soon...

She spoke about various irregularities, the late opening of voting centers, complaints about voting materials like the ink used that did not turn black quick enough allowing some to vote more than once, etc...

A preliminary report state:

In at least 50% of the voting centers, intimidation, violence and electoral fraud were recorded. They were committed for different reasons. In some cases, it was so that the ballot boxes be washed away or stuffed. In other cases, these acts of violence were perpetrated in order to disrupt the vote and achieve the cancellation of the election process, including when the supporters of some candidates realized that they were about to lose the elections.

She even spoke about an instance in Maissade where a political party was distributing water to voters with party name and logo on imprinted on the water...
