Former UK Prime Minister TONY BLAIR is in Haiti

Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair began a visit to Haiti on Tuesday... In a statement, the office of Haiti Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe said Blair and Haitian officials would discuss "state reform and actions to be taken to accelerate the decentralization of Haiti."

Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair visit Haiti

Port-au-Prince, Monday, Feb. 24, 2014 - The Office of the Prime Minister's communication informs the general public and the press in particular that former British Prime Minister Tony Blair will visit Haiti this Tuesday, February 25, 2014 , within the framework of a working meeting with the head of the Haitian Government , HE Laurent Lamothe .

This is an opportunity for Blair to see progress in Haiti , 4 years after the earthquake of 12 January 2010. This benefit to inquire about the strategy implemented by the government team to relocate in dignity more than 90% of families living in IDP camps .

Discussions will be given on the state reform and actions to be taken to accelerate the decentralization of Haiti. They also address the issue of improving the business environment in order to identify possible solutions to attract foreign capital in the economy and facilitate the creation of sustainable jobs for the Haitian people.

Prime Minister Lamothe had met Tony Blair during his participation at the 44th World Davos where the two men had agreed on the need to develop partnerships in the field of public governance Economic Forum.

The visit, which is part of the vision of the Head of State , His Excellency Mr. Michel Joseph Martelly and Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe define new public policies to eradicate extreme poverty in Haiti , demonstrates their commitment to improve the conditions of life of the population.

I am very satisfied now, at-least Haiti have a government who can communicate with the worldwide better: The minimum language's should be required for a President should be our original language and English, French and Spanish.

Some of them could not even speak one between the 3 commercial's language, they mess-up Haiti.
