Ernst Pedro Casseus, former president of Haiti Chamber of Deputies, is Dead
In 1991, Ernst Pedro Casséus became the first president of the Chamber of Deputies of the 45th legislature after the democratic Haiti elections of 1990.
on August 13 1991, Haitian parliament convened to consider a no-confidence vote against then Prime Minister Rene Preval.
After Preval addressed the assembly, Ernst Pedro Casseus, then president of the chamber of deputies, suspended the session before the expected no-confidence vote could take place.
