Did Michel Martelly And Mirlande Manigat Receive Bribes Money From Dominican Republic?

Haiti Corruption - There are allegations hot off the press that Haiti President Michel Martelly received more than 2 million U.S. dollars in bribes money from a Dominican construction firm owned by Dominican Senator Felix Bautista. Is that true?

These allegations are the results of investigations from Dominican Investigative Journalist Nuria Piera

Mirlande Manigat's name is mentioned as well...

Supposedly, Mirlande Manigat received a total of $250,000.00 in contribution from accounts tied to Bautista.

According to Haiti Radio Scoop FM, these allegations are related to moneys that were spent in the campaigns of then candidate for president Michel Martelly and Mirlande Manigat.

Nouvel la sho Pitit... Chaleur... Woush!

The resignation of Dominican President Leonel Fernandez and Haitian president Michel Martelly is being talked about.

Hmmm... I am still reading...

Follow these links for more details and tell me what you think...

  1. At Least $2.5 Million in Kickbacks to President Martelly (Haitian Beats)
  2. Michel Martelly soupçonné dans un grave cas de corruption en République voisine (Le Matin)
  3. Martelly directamente implicado en más grave escándalo de corrupción bilateral de los últimos años (espacinsular.org)

As I write this, this topic is being discussed in the Radio airwaves in Haiti.

With Bellerive around, Michel Martelly has to receive something.

Ms Manigat will get involved in shady craps like that. I always knew Bellerive is a boboteur and crooked.

I do not trust, or believe in any Dominicans and do not care for DR at all. They did not help us after the earthquake, because they care about us and was in it for the money.

The DR received tons of money from the US, and other countries.

They dogged us, and consider us sub-humans.
