Ermantide Joseph, mother of first Haiti lady Martine Moise, has died
Accoding to news reports, Ermantide Joseph was taken to a hospital in Port-de-Paix but was unable to receive the proper care she required.
She was transferred to Hospital Bernard Mevs in the Haiti's capital but she did not arrive in time.
ON November 27, First lady Martine Moise tweeted:
"Moso manman se yon moso ki chè. Ou banm lavi e pandan 45 lane ou kenbe menm poum rive kotem ye jodia. Ou montrem mache e ou edem leve lèm tonbe. Ou fèm yon fanm djanm tankouw. Jodia wale, mwen vlew konnen wap toujou gen premye plas nan kè nou tout. Que ton âme repose en paix!"
You gave me life and held my hands to get me where I am today, the first lady said in her tweet. You made me a strong woman like you. You will always be in our heart. Rest in peace.
