Did Haiti opposition leader Moise Jean Charles lie to Radio Caraibes FM about Unibank selling the U.S. Dollar at the exchange rate of 88.5 gourdes for one dollar at a time when they post their rate of exchange online at 77.75?

The former Senator and Pitit Desalin leader said he sent someone to the bank to buy 300 dollars US and they sold it to him at the exchange rate of 88.5 gourdes for one U.S. dollar.

This was so hard to believe by radio journalist Guerrier Dieuseul that he asked Moise Jean Charles for proof and to say who branch of Unibank did this, "they are clearly defrauding the population," the journalist added.

"I will send you a copy of the receipt," Moise Jean Charles said.

One hour into the broadcast of the morning news, for former Senator still did not send any copy of that receipt to prove he was telling the truth and nothing but the truth, especially after another journalist at the radio station, Pierre Renel Rene, reminded him: "Senator Moise, please remember to send us the receipt."
