Uncle Luke Says Sean Penn Doesn't Know Wyclef Or What's Good For Haiti

Former 2 Live Crew rap star Luther Campbell aka Uncle Luke is no stranger to controversy. Uncle Luke is basically the Sweet Micky of the hip hop industry. Now he is speaking his mind on the Wyclef Jean / Sean Penn issue.

Here is Luke's Gospel on Sean Penn, Wyclef Jean, Haitian politics, and 'other celebrities'...

About Sean Penn:

... I can't understand the motives of people, such as actor Sean Penn, who have the audacity to challenge Wyclef's candidacy...

... Sean Penn Doesn't Know Wyclef or What's Good For Haiti...

...It bothers me when celebrities jump in front of the news cameras and become ambassadors to devastated countries in the immediate aftermath of a natural disaster....

... They ran to New Orleans for photo ops shortly after Hurricane Katrina hit the city. But where are they now when New Orleans is still in bad shape and residents are still displaced?...

About Wyclef:

... Wyclef Jean should have the opportunity to become Haiti's president. He should keep fighting for his candidacy even though his appeal was denied...

... Wyclef has been helping the people of Haiti long before the earthquake. He has been representing his country throughout his entire career...

... He is not like other celebrities and actors who desert their countries when they get to the United States....

... he has proven himself a tireless champion of Haiti...

bon fout, min parol la....gro koze. one thing i realized with human being- when something happens, such that horrible disaster in Haiti, every body get emotional and after a few days, all is being forgotten.

One might say that it is human nature i may agree but the fact of the matter is that it is to obvious some times to see the king of respond people display on the aftermath of disasters to country like Haiti.

Thousand of people perish in the earthquake, some of the bodies are probably still buried under those houses, and the best images that Wyclef can show the world is a bunch of people dressing in red, dancing on the street, What kind of promotion is that?

Most of these youth should have been in school, but instead they are on the street dancing on the grave of thousands.

We are grateful for all, that Wyclef did for Haiti, but we also have to be honnest and realize that he is not mature enough for such a big task. Neither is Michel Martelly.

Sean Penn is absolutely right.

Mr wycleff should pull out of the election process for several reason.1- He does not have any political background, he does not have any education that would make him qualify for the position and Haiti does not not need someone that would bring the country further down. The mass of the people who is likely to vote for him is mostly uneducated and poor therefore cannot help the country
However I do believe Mr Wycleff can help Haiti in other ways without causing any more

Wyclef should have waited a few years before he put himself into this mess. Who can change Haiti?

Who will change it?

Good fellow citizens like Robert and Antoine Ismery, Louis Dejoie father and son, Jean Dominique, Guy Malary and Michelle Durocher Bertrand to name a few lost their lives for this internal colony of the 5 richest families in Haiti to save it from their paws, but nothing had changed in Haiti.
