Taiwan First Lady Chow Mei-ching Will Visit Haiti This Sunday

Chow Mei-ching, The first lady of The Republic of China (Taiwan) is heading to the Republic of Haiti this Sunday, August 29 2010, on a Humanitarian mission.
The first lady is making this trip as honorary president of the Red Cross Society of the Republic of China and "Love Ambassador" for World Vision.
This trip will last five days and four nights; the first lady will also be visiting the neighboring Dominican Republic as well.
Chow will have a busy schedule that will also include meeting the six children she and her husband, President Ma Ying-Jeou, are sponsoring in the two adjacent countries of Hispaniola.
We should also note that... Since the Haiti earthquake, The Republic of China (Taiwan) has provided great assistance to Haiti.
a) They sent a 23-person search and rescue team from Taiwan's National Fire Agency to assist in saving lives. they were among the first foreign help to arrive in Haiti.
b) They have donated more than 400 metric tons of rice to Haiti since the earthquake
